Drydocks bags Tidewater PSVs

Batam: Drydocks World Southeast Asia has inked contracts for a quartet of platform supply vessels (PSVs) from Tidewater. The four 3,200 dwt PSVs are to be built at Drydocks World in Batam, Indonesia, with a total order value of $100m. Tidewater also signed for options for a further four newbuildings at the Indonesian yard. “Including this new construction commitment at Drydocks World, Tidewater has committed approximately $500m to its ongoing fleet renewal program in recent quarters,” said Jeff Platt, coo of Tidewater.
