Vessel for Eestinova OU

On April, 28 the Onega shipyard rolled out a tanker aft and a fore body of the second dry cargo vessel in a series “Emi Leader”.

The customer of the vessel is Eestinova OU.

It is expected that the vessel will be launched in August 2008 and delivered to the customer in 2009.

The project of the vessel was worked out by the Maritime Engineering Bureau (Одесса).

The ship is to transport general and solid bulk kinds of cargo, including containers, metals, grain, timber and logs, coal, heavy and dangerous cargoes.

Technical data: the deadweight – 4570 tones, the draught – 5.812 m, the length – 89.99 m, the breadth – 14 m, the hull height – 7.15 m, the speed – 11.5 knots, the main engine capacity – 1950 kWt, the crew – 11 members.
