International Shipholding in deal for car/truck carrier

International Shipholding Corp. said it has agreed to purchase a
Panamanian-flag pure car and truck carrier that will be re-flagged under the U.S. flag. The ship has a capacity of 6,400 car-equivalent units (CEU).
ISC operates a fleet of varied ships including dry bulk carriers, roll-on/roll-off ships, a sulfur tanker and rail ferries. Prior to the deal, ISC had five U.S. flag car carriers and three international flag car carriers.
