OVER dimensional cargo freight forwarders are being urged to register key employees for the Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management available during Breakbulk Americas in Houston from October 12-14 at the George R Brown Convention Centre.
The training course will run from October 14-15.
"Specialised training is a very effective way of boosting job performance and as the global market for project cargo strengthens it is vital for companies to take a strategic look at if they have the personnel with the relevant high-quality skills to meet the needs of their clients," said trainer Kevin Stephens.
Part of the training also involves improving business communication skills delivered by lecturer and communication strategist Rodger Hall. This training focuses on producing clear and concise documents, convincing and credible business correspondence, and tenders or requests for proposals that go to the top of the pile and inspire action and produce results.
The Certificate is offered through a joint venture initiative between the JoC Breakbulk Conferences, a division of UBM Global Trade, and international over dimensional 3PL network, Project Professionals Group, with sponsorship from the Port of Corpus Christi.
