Singapore's MCC adds Manila calls to PDR-Taiwan service

SINGAPORE's Maersk unit, MCC Transport, has announced that it will call on Manila twice on its IA9 service, linking Taiwan and the Pearl River Delta from September 14.


The service previously called Manila on one leg only, between South China and Malaysia. The revised rotation will be Penang, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Manila, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Manila, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore and back to Penang.


MCC, an intra-Asia carrier, will also include an extra call at Manila-South Harbour on its PHI-1 Philippines Feeder service. That rotation starts September 19: Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Shanghai, Pyong Taek, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Manila-South Harbour, Manila-North Harbour and back to Cagayan de Oro. The first sailing will be Cape Nelson, departing Manila-South Harbour September 19.
