Emirates Shipping joins ASEAN Gulf Indian Subcontinent Service

EMIRATES SHIPPING Line has announced its participation in the ASEAN - Gulf Indian Subcontinent service run by Evergreen, Simatech and OOCL between Thailand, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.


Emirates will have slots on the service and will serve the Thailand and the Indian subcontinent (ISC) markets with additional direct link to the Middle East on the following rotation: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Klang, Colombo, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Mundra, Colombo, Port Klang, Singapore and back to Laem Chabang.


Emirates' participation commences with the HS Challenger's departure from Thailand on September 17. The service is the only direct link that exists between Thailand and the Middle East, said the release.


Emirates Shipping Line is registered in Dubai Maritime City of UAE and commercially based in Dubai and Hong Kong.
