Last step: MSC hikes rate US$200/TEU to US from Med

GENEVA-based Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced an increase in its general rate of US$200 per TEU on all cargo to US from Israel, Italy, southern France, Spain and Portugal.

In a company statement, the carrier advises it is the last step in its 2010 business plan effective from October 15.
