SASCO to Build Container Vessels

On April, 23 Sakhalin shipping company (SASCO) and Chinese Minmetals Engineering and Bohai Shipbuilding signed contracts on building 2 container vessels of ice class and of 7 thousand tons’ deadweight each. Due to the contracts there is an option for building another 2 container vessels.

According to the press-service of SASCO, the first ship will be delivered at the beginning of the year of 2010.

New ships will work at the regular container lines of SASCO.
