Hapag-Lloyd buys slots on Hanjin-UASC Africa service

HAMBURG-based Hapag-Lloyd will buy up slots on a Mediterranean to West Africa service with Hanjin Shipping and United Arab Shipping by doubling vessels on the service (three from Hanjin and one from UASC) with an average vessel size of 1,874-TEU.


Other alterations to the WAF1 service include the swap of Valencia to Hanjin's dedicated terminal Algeciras on the Med loop reports ComPair Data. The new port rotation will be Algeciras, Lagos, Cotonou, Tema, Abidjan and back to Algeciras.
