SK opts for Dalian VLCCs

Dalian: Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC) has won a two-unit 320,000-dwt VLCC order from Korean SK Shipping. It is the first time that a Korean shipowner ordered such large ship from Chinese shipyard.

The 320,000-dwt VLCC was designed by DSIC in 2009, with the largest deadweight amount among domestic rivals.
