CSAV American Express string calls at Charleston from Shanghai

CHILEAN carrier CSAV launched its weekly service on the outbound leg of the American Express Service (AMEX) between Charleston and north Asia with an inaugural call at the Port of Charleston, South Carolina, with the 2,700-TEU Angeles.

The service is brings to 52 additional calls annually to Charleston while linking regional shippers directly to markets across north China and Korea. Transshipment in the Caribbean provides additional market access across Central and South America.

The port rotation is Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Xingang, Busan, Kingston, Jamaica; Caucedo, Dominican Republic and Cartagena, Colombia and back to Ningbo.
