CHENG LIE NAVIGATION CO (CNC), the intra-Asia arm of CMA CGM, and Hong Kong's TS Lines (TSL) plan to commence a new joint service connecting China to Ho Chi Minh City (NCX).
The NCX will cover Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Lianyungang, Hong Kong (HIT & Midstream), Shenzhen-Shekou, Ho Chi Minh City (Cat Lai), Hong Kong (HIT & Midstream), Dalian. The first sailing is scheduled to depart on June 25.
CNC will also add a Korea-China-Thailand connection through slots on the TS Lines/KMTC CHT service, reports Alphaliner.
In the meanwhile, SCA Transforest has launched a container shipping service connecting Rotterdam to Stockholm and ports in northern Sweden. SCA therefore diverts its 'Container Express' service, launched in February, from Hamburg to Rotterdam. At the same time Stockholm is added to the rotation.
The service thus calls at Rotterdam, Stockholm, Sundsvall and Umea, with sailings every 10 days. It remains ensured with the 809-TEU Container Express, which launched the service from Hamburg in February.
SCA Transforest is the shipping branch of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, a Swedish company specialised in the production of papers and other wood products, the report added.
