HK cargo up 15.2pc in May to 2 million TEU, Singapore up 15.4pc

FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 2 million TEU in May, an increase of 15.2 per cent over the 1.8 million in May of last year.

Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported an 15.4 per cent increase in container movement in May, having handled 2.4 million TEU compared to 2.1 million TEU in May of last year.
