HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) will impose a currency adjustment factor (CAF) and an inland fuel surcharge from July 1, the company announced in a notice to trade.
The fuel surcharge, applicable to Canadian cargo to Hong Kong, Macau and south China on all dry and reefer shipments, will be US$70 per container for truck moves and $253 per container for rail and combined truck and rail moves.
The Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) will be four per cent and apply to all dry and reefer cargo, said the company.
