Zim to levy US$175/TEU peak season surcharge from July 1

ISRAELI flag carrier Zim has announced it will levy a peak season surcharge of US$175 per TEU and US$350 per FEU from July 1 on the Asia-Europe, Asia-Med and Asia-Black Sea trade routes.


In this, Zim joins CMA CGM with its $200 per TEU charge on Asia-north Europe cargo. MSC has applied an eastbound peak season surcharge of $100 per TEU from north Europe to Asia.
