Hapag-Lloyd general rate increase, US$320/TEU and $400/FEU

GERMAN carrier Hapag-Lloyd is to increase general rate on westbound and eastbound from North Europe and the Mediterranean to the US/Canada and Mexico, and US destinations via Canadian ports, to US$320/TEU and $400/FEU effective July 1.

Additional charges of $20 and $50 for TEU and FEU respectively will apply to cargo from Norway, Sweden and Denmark according to American Shipper.

The rate increase applies to all cargo and commodities, FEU high cube containers and reefers.
