CMA CGM (America) taps Maersk Inc.'s Dianora for transpacific imports

CMA CGM (America) LLC, the U.S. agent of France-based container shipping giant CMA CGM, has appointed Christopher Dianora as director of inbound transpacific.

Dianora was general manager, Pacific services at Maersk Inc., the U.S. arm of Denmark's A.P. Moller - Maersk. In a shipping industry career spanning more than 25 years, he has held various positions with companies such as Y.S. Lines, NYK, TTT Ship Agencies and U.S. Navigation.

At Norfolk, Va.-based CMA CGM (America) Dianora will oversee the optimization of the inbound transpacific in North America, and will report to Susan Hatchard, senior vice president sales, trade and marketing.
