Maersk swaps Europe port on South America string

Apr 10, 2008 Shipping

Maersk Line has swapped the order it calls at the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp on its weekly Europe/South America L-Class service.

The Copenhagen, Denmark carrier said the change would improve service reliability by providing more buffer in the schedule.

The L-Class service uses five 3,700-TEU ships and has a revised itinerary of Algeciras, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Thamesport, Santos, Montevideo, Paranagua, Santos, Pecem and Algeciras.

The updated service profile is available now from ComPair Data, American Shipper's affiliated database for global liner services, at www.compairdata.com
