Effective May 4, Hanjin will team up with Chinese carrier Sinotrans and fellow Seoul-based lines STX Pan Ocean and Heung-A Shipping to start the China-Korea Australia (CKA) service. The port rotation will be Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and back to Busan. Hanjin will contribute two of the five 1,200-TEU ships with the other partners providing one each.
