Seaboard Marine will Friday start a weekly service connecting ports in Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica, according to the Miami-based carrier's latest sailing schedule.
The Mexico/Pan-Caribbean service will use three ships with an average container capacity of 720 TEUs on a rotation of Veracruz, Altamira, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Cristobal, Rio Haina, Port-au-Prince, Kingston and back to Mexico.
The multipurpose vessel CEC Mirage will kick off the service when it departs Veracruz Friday.
Meanwhile, Seaboard is adding calls at Suriname and Georgetown to its weekly Caribbean service. The rotation becomes Miami, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Johns, Bridgetown, Point Lisas, Kingston, Suriname, Georgetown and Miami.
