Zim to levy US$200/TEU Asia-Europe hike from December 1

ISRAELI flag carrier Zim has announced a rate increase of US$200 per TEU for cargo from Asia to Europe as well as cargo from Europe to the US from December 1 and applies to destinations in north Europe, Mediterranean and Black Sea.

Zim will also raise rates $250 per TEU and $350 per FEU from Italy to the US from December 10. From January 1, Zim will also raise rates $250 per TEU and $350 per FEU from Spain to the US as well as levy a $375 per TEU and $475 per FEU rate increase on cargo from north Europe to the US.
