MSC announces rate restoration

Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC) has announced a rate restoration on the India to North Europe, UK, West and East Mediterranean and Black Sea trades, according to Exim News Service.

According to a release, the hike will be by $ 150 per TEU, effective from November 7.
This rate restoration is indicative of not just the fact that the world’s second-largest container shipping line is constantly upgrading its service levels, but also of the improving scenario in box shipping where the market sentiment seems to have turned positive as a result of the improving global trade.
