ANL Singapore Pte Ltd (ANL), China Shipping Container Line (CSCL) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) have announced that they will upgrade their ANL/ ACE North Asia (AANA) service. The AANA services the vital trade lanes between Japan, Korea, China(including Taiwan), to/from Australia.
From May 2008, the upgraded AANA service will operate with five 4,250 TEU vessels, on a 35 day round-trip voyage. Previously, the service operated with six 2,500 TEU vessels. This will significantly reduce the transit times from major Asian markets to the East Coast of Australia by an average of four days.
The upgrade further highlights the commitment of the operators to provide the best service levels to their customers.Port rotation will be as follows: (Northbound) Melbourne/ Sydney/ Brisbane/ Yokohama/ Osaka/ Pusan/ Qingdao/ Shanghai/ Ningbo/Hong Kong/ Kaohsiung and (Southbound) Yokohama/ Osaka/ Pusan/ Qingdao/ Shanghai/ Ningbo/ Hong Kong/ Kaohsiung/ Melbourne/ Sydney/ Brisbane.
