Hanjin Shipping has announced today that it is launching new services covering Far East, India and the Middle East beginning from November.
Named FIX (Far East India Express) and FMX (Far East Middle East Express), these two separate services will be replacing the existing FIM (Far East India Middle East).
FIX, with 5 of 2,500TEU class vessels deployed by partner carriers including Hanjin Shipping, KMTC and STX, has been set up in order to cover the growing demand in India boosted by CEPA (Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) settled between Korea and India back in August. This new service will be launching in November.
FMX, targeting the Middle East regions, will be co-operated by Hanjin Shipping, STX and Sinokor where partner carriers will deploy 6 of 4,000TEU vessels as it begins its operation from November.
Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping comments that it will continue its efforts in developing new services corresponding to its customers' needs.
