Hanjin and Hyundai to cooperate in Trans-Pacific trade

Hanjin Shipping and Hyundai Merchant Marine have announced today that they will cooperate in the Trans-Pacific trade beginning from October, 2009.

Specifically, these two partner carriers will be exchanging vessel space; Hanjin will be taking slots on Hyundai’s SZX (Suez Express) and Hyundai, on Hanjin’s AWN (All Water North Atlantic). 

With this slot exchange, Hanjin Shipping will be able to expand its presence in Singapore/Colombo - U.S. East Coast trade while Hyundai, in Shanghai/Busan - U.S. East Coast trade. 

Meanwhile, Hanjin Shipping is continuing to cooperate with domestic/overseas carriers to develop various routes in order to offer satisfying service to its customers.
