SWISS logistics giant Panalpina has won additional freight business in key regions of Angola, Gabon, Libya, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan for a three-year period with one of the largest oil and gas drilling contractors KCA DEUTAG.

The renewed partnership is based on "credibility, capability, and competence", said KCA DEUTAG materials and transport chief Frank Goerke.

"This vision combined with a strong focus on efficiency will be a major improvement and achievable target for a professional freight forwarder like Panalpina to deliver door-to-door service for KCA DEUTAG globally," said Mr Goerke.

KCA DEUTAG operates a fleet of mobile offshore drilling units and employs over 8,000 people with operations in over 20 countries worldwide.
