Off-Shore Supply Vessel Neftegas-67

According to LigaBusinessInfrom quoting Chernomorneftegas, the ship-owner, currently the representative of the company’ management are personally visiting relatives of the missing crew members.


It should be pointed out that on March, 22 in the South China Sea (in Hong Kong waters) the Ukraine tug vessel Neftegas-67 collided with the bulker named Yao-Hai (China).


The Ukraine ship The Naftogaz-67 had reportedly been operating since 2003 for the Swiss company Fortranse Ltd in the South China Sea between China, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.


The ship sank after the collision. The vessel was carrying 24 Ukrainian crew and one Chinese sailor. Six Ukrainians and the Chinese sailor were rescued. Among them is a ship master.


The salvage operations are still going with the help of the divers, helicopters and boats.


To investigate the reasons of the collusion the emergency operation center was established by the Ukrainian Ministry of transport, Ukrrechflot and Chernomorneftegas.
