CMA CGM subsidiary OT Africa Line (OTAL) has expanded the coverage of its West Africa feeder network by adding a port of call at the Angolan port of Cabinda.
The new port rotation of the West Feeder Service (WFE) is: Pointe Noire (Congo), Cabinda (Angola), Boma (Democratic Republic of Congo), Banana (Democratic Republic of Congo), Lobito (Angola), and Namibe (Angola).
The carrier also calls at two additional ports in Angola, namely Luanda and Soyo, on other services, reports American Shipper. Through transhipment at Tangier, the Angolan ports are said to have links to all major European ports.
The West Feeder Service is dedicated to serving the oil industry and providing transportation for industrial projects. The service will be able to offer transportation for standard containers, reefers, flat racks, open-top containers and 40-foot high cube boxes.
