MOL (HK) Agency Ltd to open September 1

MOL (Asia) has announced that it has set up a new company named MOL (HK) Agency Ltd, which is scheduled to commence operation on September 1.

Under the leadership of managing director Hiroshi Ogawa, this new company will provide local agency functions for MOL's global liner and non-liner services serving Hong Kong.

"MOL (HK) Agency Ltd, which previously operated under the name of MOL (Asia) Ltd, was created as a result of MOL (Asia) Ltd's recent corporate reorganisation aimed at streamlining the company's control and functions, as well as to maximise business efficiency and performance through its local companies in Asia," a company statement said.

MOL (HK) Agency Ltd is expected to become a key operation office in MOL's Central Asia Region as it will be dedicated to serving Hong Kong customers.
