Wan Hai Lines declares rate recovery

Wan Hai Lines has announced that it will "enforce" rate recovery on its Far East-India service, according to the Shipping Gazette.

With effect from September 1, the Taiwanese carrier said in a statement that the quantum will be US$100 per TEU and $200 per FEU.

The company said the increase will apply to all cargo and commodities, including reefers and special equipment.
