A NEW sea-rail service from eastern China's Jian city in Jiangxi province to Shenzhen has been launched, marking another express channel linking coastal ports after Jian to Xiamen sea-rail service was launched at the beginning of the year, reports Xinhua.
The service will offer direct customs clearance for goods in Jian, which will help enterprises enhance the efficiency of import and export logistics and lower the cost. The service also lays a firm foundation for Jian to shape itself into an inland port.
