WAN HAI Lines announced it "will enforce the rate recovery" on all cargo services between the Far East and India from August 1 of US$100 per TEU, $200 per FEU and 40'high cube.
Taiwan's Wan Hai Lines Ltd and Wan Hai Lines (S) Pte Ltd also plans to levy a transpacific general rate increase from August 15 on cargo from the Far East and the Indian subcontinent to the US of $400 per TEU, $500 per FEU, $565 per 40'HC and $635 per 45-footer.
The increase will apply to all cargo moving under service contract and tariff rates unless otherwise specified, said the company statement.
