Exports fell 15.7 per cent to $19 million while imports declined 26.5 per cent to $8.9 billion, generating a trade surplus of $10.1 billion.
Provincial foreign trade value declined 18.7 per cent in May to $6.1 billion. Export value went down 16.2 per cent to $4.1 billion. The decrease was 4.4 per cent narrower than in April. Import value dropped 23.4 per cent to $1.95 billion. The decrease was 2.2 per cent wider than in April. Trade surplus was $2.2 billion.
