GAC forges shipping agent agreement in Italy

GAC Shipping said Tuesday it has formed an alliance agreement with Agora Worldwide Shipping Agencies S.c.a.r.L. to provide ship agency services throughout all major ports in Italy, under the common brand GAC-Agora.
  

Agora, founded in 2006, has 16 offices directly covering 25 Italian ports. Agreements with approved sub-agents increase its coverage to 51 ports, GAC said in a statement.
  

GAC has 12 other such agency agreements in more than 20 countries.
