Maersk shipowner and CFO quits his job

A. P. Moller-Maersk will have to search for a new Chief Financial Officer as the present CFO, Soren Thorup Sørensen has announced that he will resign. “I have been stressed and overworked, lost weight and am not sleeping well at night, so therefore it was time to change my life” says Soren Thorup Sørensen to several media.
Soren Thorup Sorensen joined A. P. Moller-Mærsk in 2006 and was appointed CFO in 2007. At the same time, he became a partner in the privately owned company A. P. Møller, with the title shipowner.
