KPCL opens Chennai office

Krishnapatnam Port Co. Ltd (KPCL), which operates the new deepwater port in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, has opened its office here, Exim News Service informed.
Krishnapatnam Port, situated 200 km north of Chennai, has handled 8 million tonnes of cargo in its first 8 months of operations.
Four deepwater berths are operational at the port now, which were completed under phase-1. It will soon have additional berths, with facilities to handle containers.
The Chennai office is situated at Tangi Apartments, Victoria Crescent Road at Egmore. Mr Shankar is the in-charge.
