Lianyungang Bonded Logistics Centre gains approval

LIANYUNGANG Bonded Logistics Centre (B type) has been approved, which is the first bonded logistics centre in north of Jiangsu Province and is the fifth one approved within the province, reports Xinhua.

After the inspection by the state in one year, goods from home and abroad can enjoy preferential policies upon entry into the centre, whose main functions are: bonded storing, simple processing, value-added services, global sourcing, distribution and delivery, and carrying trade and international transfer.

The centre occupies a 1.32-square kilometres area and has a total investment of CNY1.59 billion (US$0.23 billion). It is constructed according to the national standards and in the principle of planning for once, building, being inspected and operating in phases.

Bonded logistics centre in China has two types, ;A type and B type. A type is invested and built by one company and serve for itself, while B type is invested and built by one or more than one companies and has more than two large logistics companies to settle in.
