Warnemünde Cruise Port again honored at the Seatrade

After receiving a distinction in 2006 and 2007, the Warnemünde cruise port was once again distinguished this year by the trade magazine Dream World Cruise Destinations at the Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention. In the category Most Efficient Port Services, Warnemünde was joined by the ports of Brisbane in Australia, Muscat in Oman and Vigo in Spain.
Criteria like the interaction of different maritime service provider such as pilots, shipping agents, customs and port operator as well as labour relations and exchange of information with the cruise shipping companies included in the evaluation.
In 2006 the cruise port in Warnemünde was already honored in the category Most Improved Terminal Facilities for the development and construction of the Warnemünde Cruise Center and in 2007 as one of the best Turnaround Destination worldwide.
Each year the English trade magazine Dream World Cruise Destinations honors cruise ports worldwide for special services and developments in different categories.
