APL closes its container service to the port of Novorossiysk, PortNews IAA learnt at the company’s representative office in St. Petersburg. According to the source the service was absolutely unprofitable and it is unreasonable to manage a service at the Black Sea due to the current supply-and-demand situation.
APL Logistics (subsidiary of Neptune Orient Lines, Singapore) specializes in maritime transportation of containers and terminal services. The company’s key terminal facilities are located in Asia and in North America.
