SOCAR to build new port in Georgia

SOCAR will build a new port in Georgia.


It intends to build a new port on the Black Sea shore of Georgia from revenues from the operation of the SOCAR oil terminal in Georgian Kulevi, said the press service for SOCAR, noting that the development of the due project is currently being held.


The new port will allow large tankers to be shipped offshore.


Now works are held near the Kulevi terminal to expand and deepen the  forwarders for large tankers.
