Ports in China registered a 6 per cent year on year volume growth in October, 2.1 per cent lower than last October down to 470 million tonnes, reports Logistics Week.
This was the lowest monthly level recorded this year while volume tracked downward for the past three months. Chinese ports moved 10.65 million TEU in October, up 8.2 per cent but 8 per cent down on the growth a year ago, keeping the growth rate in single digits for two months.
