Hainan to build Asia's largest cruise terminal

Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal will become Asia's largest mother port for cruise liners after the second-phase construction is complete by 2010, sources reported.



The first-phase construction, with a total investment of 38.19 million, has recently passed a completion inspection.



The terminal, located in Sanya Phoenix Island, Hainan province, has already opened routes including Hong Kong-Sanya-Hong Kong and Hong Kong-Sanya-Vietnam-Hong Kong.
