DP World says volume up 16% through 3rd quarter

 Dubai-based terminal operator Dubai Ports World said Tuesday its container volume through the first nine months of 2008 has grown 16 percent over the same period in 2007.

   The company, which wholly or majority owns 26 terminals worldwide, did not release volume data either in total or for individual terminals. Its flagship facility is the Jebel Ali port in Dubai, one of the world's 10 biggest ports.
