New Container Terminal in Ilyichevsk

In the Ilyichevsk port Ukrtranscontainer put a new container terminal into operation, reports RBC-Ukraine. The investment volume totaled more than $51 mn.

It is said that 2 berths were reconstructed, dredging work was done, 8 container loaders and 10 marine tractors were bought.

Besides, there was built a warehousing platform of 6 thousand TEU capacity. As a result the capacity of the terminal increased by 2.6 times – up to 850 thousand TEU.
