DP World opens inland shipping terminal in Rotterdam

DP World recently opened the Rotterdam Barge Gateway at the Uniport terminal in the Waalhaven. Here the company will have access for ten years to exclusive capacity in an area of 6 hectares, equipped with a mobile crane. DP World gives cargo guarantees. The capacity is approx. 100,000 TEU a year, with the option of doubling this in the future. DP World currently operates a service to Antwerp three times a week, with CMA CGM as its most important client.
