Vladovostok Port’s Cargo Handling on Korean Direction

In January-September of the current year cargo handling of the Vladivostok Commercila Sea Port on the Korean Direction totaled 862 thousand tons. These data were announced by Vyacheslav Ekimtzev, deputy director of the port, during the meeting with representatives of the Legislative Assembly of Kangwon (Korea).

According to the deputy director of the port, import cargo handling was 428.2 thousand tons, export cargo handling - 434 thousand tons. Trade turnover with Korea totals 41% of all export-import shippings.

Import cargo turnover includes containers (90%) and specialty equipment. Export cargo turnover includes scrap metal, containers, cellulose, cast iron and ferrous metals.
