Seaport of Aktau (Kazakhstan) handles 4.192 million tonnes of crude and oil products in H1 08

In January-June, 2008, Aktau International Commercial Sea Port handled 5.231.2 million tonnes of general and oil cargo, the company informs.

In the reported period, transshipment of crude and oil products amounted to 4.192.3 million tonnes, dry cargo – 862,763 including 828,469.7 tonnes of metal, 56,464.2 tonnes of grain, 34,293.3 tonnes of the Russia cargo. Transshipment of ferry cargoes totaled 119,635.4 tonnes. 

Aktau International Commercial Sea Port is the only seaport of Kazakhstan to serve international transportation of dry cargo, oil and oil products.
