Appointments in Port of Poti

Alan Midlton is appointed new general director of the port of Poti, local media report.

It is said that he plans to develop the port and increase its cargo turnover.

Rak Investment controls 51% of the port, the rest belongs to Georgia. The Arabic company intends to invest $200 mn in the construction of a new port in Poti.
