Icebreakers to escort 3 ships in the Gulf of Finland

As of today, April 14th (8:00am - MT), there are 3 vessels in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, which requested icebreaker assistance, the Port Authority of Big Port St. Petersburg reports.


The St. Petersburg PA reports of 21 merchant ships located in the water area, 18 of them - in motion.


Over the past day 16 ships have reached the entrance buoy of St Petersburg port. 30 vessels are westbound from the Gulf area, 19 ships called at the port and 19 - departed. Overall, there are 66 cargo ships and 411 local ships at the port.
