Besides, RFL is focused on construction of piers in Sochi and Novorossiysk to handle the express ferries. In the future, the company expects its ferries to call at the ports of Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

It is planned that the fleet of the ferry service will consist of six catamarans. The passenger terminals will be managed at a port in the Kaliningrad region and in Sochi. Currently, the first ferry is being under construction at a Norway shipyard. The vessel will be able to accommodate up to 64 trucks and 1,200 passengers (including the crew). The ship is said to be able to cover the distance from St. Petersburg to the Baltic coast in 14 hours.
